The large gears are made of 42CrMo forged steel and undergo quenching, while the small gears are made of 20CrMnTi steel with carburizing and quenching. This results in a hard tooth surface and a tough core: the tooth surfaces exhibit excellent wear resistance and pitting resistance, and the gear bodies are highly impact‑resistant, making them less prone to tooth breakage under the alternating loads generated during crushing. The helical‑spiral teeth ensure smooth meshing, low transmission noise, and reduced operational vibration, thereby minimizing overall machine shake. These gears offer high load‑carrying capacity, with transmission efficiency reaching 94%–98% and minimal power loss. They also feature high mating accuracy and uniform meshing clearances, effectively preventing tooth scoring and premature wear. They are ideally suited for heavy‑duty mining applications.
