The AMT series of next‑generation sand-making machines are widely used for fine and medium crushing of various ores, particularly well suited for materials with a moisture content of no more than 20%, including abrasives, quartz sand, limestone, river pebbles, granite, concrete aggregates, refractory materials, alumina‑vanadium clinker, metallurgical slag, carborundum, and other hard, brittle materials. Featuring energy efficiency, long service life, and broad applicability, these stone‑crushing and sand‑making units meet customers’ demands for high cost‑effectiveness and robust production capacity.
Working principle
The AMT series impact crusher employs a waterfall‑type feeding system that introduces a secondary material stream into the crushing chamber at a controlled rate, increasing the material volume or density within the chamber and enhancing energy exchange among particles. The material entering the crushing chamber collides violently with suspended particles and the material lining, and it further impacts the material ejected from the rotor. Ultimately, the material that has lost its energy is discharged from the crushing chamber. During operation, the waterfall‑feeding system allows the external hydraulic unit to adjust the flow rate, enabling precise control of the product’s particle size distribution. This flow‑adjustment mechanism can be regulated flexibly via hydraulics or manually, allowing the crusher to adapt to variations in feed and providing full control over product quality and fines content.
